25

F Watson 2 wkts, F Jude 3 wkts, 3 run outs.  F Watson 12, J Waind 16, M Garbutt 18.

In a 25 over match Kirbymisperton opened and were in trouble at 6 for 16 however, A Watson 33 not out (also a Normanby player!) scored freely in this local derby backed up by S Welburn 9 and 7 byes after the 25 overs.  Normanby replied with a positive start being 2 for 41 in 12 overs and the game seemed an easy win.  A change of bowlers in S Welburn 5 wickets saw a collapse and Normanby lost 7 wickets for 17 runs, A Watson also took 4 wickets.  R Hunter being the last player out first ball to “Tie” the game.
